Relationship of mutual trust
Since 1983, Telefónica and Fundación Universidad-Empresa have built a relationship of mutual trust which has lead to the design and development of ad hoc programs for the recruitment and training of university graduates such as TID Campus and Telefónica Global Experience.
Telefónica Global Experience
Telefonica Global Experience is a training scheme geared to recruit international university talent for Telefónica Business Solutions.
In 2015, the program was carried out in Spain, Brazil and Peru, where 45 undergraduate students and recent graduates carried out internships at different company locations.
TID Campus is a highly specialized two-week training program for recent graduates in new technologies, digital product and service operations, and ICT tools deployment. Upon completion of TID Campus, those graduates with the best performance record are invited to participate in GAIA Program and carry out an internship at Telefónica I+D.
Over 90 recent graduates have participated to date. In 2016 it celebrated its 4th edition with 30 graduates.
Since 2014, ALSTOM – a leading company in the transport and energy sectors – has promoted young talent in alliance with Fundación Universidad-Empresa through ALSTOM Talent Energy.
Selected graduates have the opportunity of learning from the best professionals while working on important railway projects in an international environment, in the framework of the GAIA program.
In 2015, ALSTOM Talent Energy admitted 40 graduates to carry out 12-month internships at ALSTOM’s offices in Madrid and Barcelona. In 2016, 39 graduates.
Challenge by Cintra is a joint initiative with which Cintra and FUE seek to combine academic excellence and business innovation.
This alliance offers graduates the chance to live an international experience while carrying out rotating internships at Cintra locations in Spain, Portugal and the United States.
In 2014 and 2015, a total of 13 graduates have participated (6 spanish, 3 portuguese and 4 americans). In 2016 there were 4 graduates (3 spanish and 1 portuguese).
Provision to cover 160 GAIA annual positions, since the collaboration between Ferrovial began in 2017.
